Gluten Intolerance

You’ve likely heard of people going gluten free, but may not know why, or how it might affect your brain. Moreover, not everyone reacts to gluten the same. Some may not be bothered by it at all, while others with gluten intolerance could have a serious inflammatory reaction and brain fog (remember Dr. Bredesen noted inflammation as being a basic cause of cognitive decline), as a result of just one high gluten meal, or it could come on gradually without you even being away of it’s insidious influence.

In either event, or in case you or a loved one is developing a gluten intolerance that you are unaware of, here is a great review of the gluten issue by Dr. Jockers. In this colorful article you will learn the multiple ways in which gluten might be affecting your body and brain, the sources, the symptoms to look for and what you can do if you or a loved one is developing a gluten intolerance.

There are a lot of conflicting opinions in this field but one thing all researchers are agreed on is the sooner individuals begin learning and taking steps to improve their brain health the easier and less expensive it will be.
